Newton County residents choose to go to the Rockdale County Fair. The Rockdale County Fair is hosted during the summer for a ten day period in the. The Fair is held at the Georgia International Horse Park and is full of fun and excitement for children and adults. Comments such as “it will make you dizzy with excitement!” have been proven a fact as the fair features multi-million dollar amusement midway featuring Jules & Beck Combined Shows, tasty fair foods, and animal shows. Other additions that will bring giggles and smiles to visitors is the 8- story Gondola Ferris wheel, the fast paced Music Fest, and the smell of cotton candy.

Directions to The Rockdale County Fair are as follows: Take Exit 82 off Interstate 20 in Conyers. Travel North approximately 4 miles. Turn right onto Centennial Olympic Parkway. The main entrance to the Park is 2 miles ahead on the right
